Our Aberdeen based client has a requirement for a staff Production Engineer to work as part of their multi-disciplinary asset team, responsible for supporting the delivery of production targets by providing production engineering input to Asset Development teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for providing a wide range of production engineering support, including:
• Construct and deliver the optimised Well Management Plan
• Daily production/injection well and system performance monitoring. Diagnosis of well problems and recommending solutions. Production optimisation through management of water injection, gas lift, off-take rates, sand management and regular well testing
• Provision of support to offshore production operations/drilling and well services. Providing a primary interface between Operations, Facilities, Subsurface and Well Services teams
• Create/maintain and update well performance and integrated asset models
• Leading well review meetings. Identification of well intervention opportunities and mature these to execution.
• Generate production forecasts and injection targets
• Establish well test strategies
• Flow Assurance – working with production chemist and vendors to ensure optimal chemical management to mitigate wax and scale formation and design of scale squeeze treatments
• Provide input to field development, exploration and drilling plans.
• Participate in peer reviews, and contributes to management and joint venture partner meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING

• BSc in an Engineering or Science discipline

• Practical experience as a Production / Petroleum Engineer
• Experience in production/injection monitoring and forecasting, artificial and gas lift, ESPs, scale mitigation, well intervention
• Familiar with standard engineering software e.g. Prosper, GAP, OFM.
• Proven ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams
• Knowledge of well integrity issues, risk analysis and working with well engineering

• Experience of working in an Operator environment

Lead Subsea Equipment Engineer

Our Aberdeen based client has a requirement for a Lead Subsea Equipment Engineer to start July 2018 for a 12 month contract duration.

Key Responsibilities include:

– To coach, mentor and challenge the Flexibles Contractor and Subsea Equipment Contractor
– Responsibility for the Flexibles and Subsea Equipment Scopes and associated Functional Design Specifications as well as design and test documentation
– To assist with the preparation of ITT documents and contracting philosophies
– To technically assess tenders and clarifications, negotiate details to suit project requirements and make technical recommendations for award
– To review Flexibles Contractor and Subsea Equipment Contractor scopes of work to ensure delivery for designs, engineering, fabrication, products and installation are all within agreed budget, payment and engineering schedule and defined milestones
– To oversee the development of Flexibles Contractor and Subsea Equipment Contractor philosophies, work procedures and specifications
– To partake in the general development of schemes and installations methods with original work and working in conjunction with other disciplines
– To review and ensure that Flexibles and Subsea Equipment Contractors’ designs and equipment meets FDS requirements within the scope of the contract and are installable
– To ensure testing and integration of Flexibles and Subsea Equipment elements in the whole design and across respective contracts
– To assist in conjunction with the Flexibles Contractor and Subsea Equipment Contractor Production Assurance principles to the Subsea system and implement same through contractor’s work and deliveries
o Review contractors’ plans and procedures for demonstrating integrity at key stages of Testing (FAT, EFAT, FIT, SIT) and proof of Operation on Seabed
– To liaise and interface with rest of Project Team and Contractors to ensure efficient delivery of Flexibles and Subsea Equipment
– Through application of QA / QC, ensures equipment is qualified and tested to meet project ITP and ensures system may be independently Validated and accepted by Regulator.

* Maintain auditable booked reserves estimates and reserves reports
